Increase in the CPI during September 2017

The overall CPI for Palestine during September 2017 increased by 0.65% compared with August 2017 (by 1.39% in Gaza Strip, by 0.28% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.14% in the West Bank**).

The changes in Palestinian CPI for September 2017 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The Palestinian CPI during September 2017 decreased by 0.14% compared with September 2016 (by 0.83% in the West Bank**, while it increased by 1.34% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.27% in Gaza Strip).

The Palestinian CPI during the first nine months of 2017 increased by 0.10% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 2.47% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.14% in the West Bank**, while it decreased by 0.27% in Gaza Strip).
