The West Bank was divided into 9 Governorates and two Districts (Jenin, Tulkarm, Qalqiliya, Nablus, Ramallah & Al-Bireh, Jerusalem, Jericho, Bethlehem, Hebron, and Tubas, Salfit Districts) while Gaza Strip was divided into 5 Governorates (North Gaza, Gaza, Deir Al-Balah, Khan Yunis, Rafah).
