The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) reached 99.05 in January 2017 .
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential buildings reached 103.29 with an increase of 0.27% in the West Bank during January 2017 .
Exports decreased in December, 2016 by 6% compared to November, 2016. While It increased by 9% compared to December, 2015 and reached around USD 85 Million.
The number of individuals participating in the labour force in Palestine was 1,341,000 in 2016; 844,600 in the West Bank and 496,400 in Gaza Strip.
The preliminary results showed an increase in the total current expenditure on health to attain USD 1,321.3 millions in 2015 compared to USD 1,234.2 in 2014.
The overall CPI for Palestine during January 2017 increased by 0.14% compared with December 2016 (by 1.02% in Jerusalem J1*, by 0.38% in Gaza Strip, and slightly increased by 0.03% in the West Bank).
The number of individuals participating in the labour force in Palestine was 1,348,000 in the 4th quarter 2016; 847,900 in the West Bank and 500,100 in Gaza Strip.
The overall IPI in Palestine reached 103.58 during the year of 2016 with an increase of 0.96% compared to the previous year (Base Month December 2015 = 100).
