The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 102.57 in January 2022, as it sharply increased by 3.22% compared to December 2021.
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 115.71 with a slight increase of 0.01% during January 2022
Exports increased in December, 2021 by 7% compared to November, 2021. It also increased by 23% compared to December
The number of employed persons increased from about 1.036 million in the 3rd quarter of 2021 to about 1.092 million in the 4th quarter of 2021,
The overall CPI for Palestine during January 2022 recorded an increase by 0.68% compared with December 2021 (1.00% in Jerusalem J1*, 0.73% in the West Bank**, and 0.33% in Gaza Strip
The overall IPI in Palestine with its Base Year (2019 = 100) reached 105.06 in 2021 which indicates a sharp increase by 14.13% compared to 2020.
