The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 107.68 in October 2022, as it increased by 0.65% compared to September 2022.
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 119.74 with an increase of 0.39% during October 2022
Exports decreased in September, 2022 by 17% compared to August, 2022. Imports decreased in September, 2022 by 2% compared to August, 2022.
The total foreign direct investment stock in resident enterprises in Palestine amounted to USD 1,975 million at the end of 2021
The overall Consumer Price Index CPI for Palestine during October 2022 recorded an increase by 0.42% compared with September 2022 (0.84% in Gaza Strip, by 0.40% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.30% in the West Bank**).
The number of employed persons (excluding workers abroad) increased from about 1.114 million in the 2nd quarter of 2022 to about 1.151 million in the 3rd quarter of 2022, by 3.3%.
The overall IPI in Palestine reached 110.39 during September 2022 which indicates a decrease of 2.50% compared to August 2022 (Base Year 2019 = 100).
