The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 105.84 in January 2023, as it decreased by 0.73% compared to December 2022.

The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 119.57 with an increase of 0.28% during January 2023 compared with December 2022 (base year 2013=100).
Unemployment rate among labour force participants in Palestine reached 24% in 2022, and the total labour underutilization reached 31%.
The number of employed persons (excluding workers abroad) increased from about 1.151 million in the 3rd quarter of 2022 to about 1.159 million in the 4th quarter of 2022, by 0.7%. This increase came because of the increase in the number of employed persons in Gaza Strip by 3% in the 4th quarter 2022, while the number of employed persons in the West Bank decreased by 0.1% in the same period.
The overall Consumer Price Index CPI for Palestine during January 2023 recorded an increase by 0.34% compared with December 2022
The overall IPI in Palestine with its Base Year (2019 = 100) reached 108.50 in 2022 which indicates an increase by 3.27% compared to 2021.
