The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 106.93 in June 2023, as it increased by 1.01% compared to May 2023.
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 120.04 with a decrease of 0.42% during June 2023 compared with May 2023
Exports increased in May, 2023 by 27% compared to April, 2023. Imports increased in May, 2023 by 24% compared to April, 2023.
The overall Wholesale Price Index in Palestine during the Second Quarter of 2023 recorded a decrease by 1.23% compared with the First quarter of 2023 (1.73% for imported products, while the price of local products increased by 0.15%.)
The overall Consumer Price Index CPI for Palestine during June 2023 recorded a decrease by 0.35% compared with May 2023 (0.54% in Gaza Strip, 0.32% in the West Bank**, and by 0.17% in Jerusalem J1*).
About 14.5 million Palestinians in the world in mid-2023, of whom about 5.48 million in the State of Palestine; 2.78 million males and 2.70 million females.
Business and Administration is the field where most students aged (20-29 years) were enrolled, whether for intermediate diploma or a bachelor’s degree (BA).
The overall IPI in Palestine reached 110.38 during May 2023 with an increase of 13.95% compared to April 2023 (Base Year 2019 = 100).
