The overall PPI in Palestine with its base year (2019=100) reached 111.09 in 2023, which indicates a sharp increase by 5.48% compared to 2022.
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 120.49 during 2023 with an increase of 1.28% compared with 2022 (Base year 2013=100).
Exports increased in November, 2023 by 9% compared to October, 2023, Imports decreased in November, 2023 by 14% compared to October, 2023.
The State of Palestine, represented by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, ranks 1st in the Middle East and North Africa region in the Statistical Performance Index (SPI), as part of the World Bank's Assessment of National Statistical Systems for 2022
The overall Wholesale Price Index in Palestine during 2023 recorded a sharp increase by 3.22% compared with 2022 (7.30% for local consumed products, and by 1.77% for imported products).
Sharp accumulated increase in the Palestinian Consumer Price Index (CPI) to record an increase of 10% since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip by 2.57% for the first month of the aggression "October 2023"; by 3.50% during the second month of the aggression "November 2023"; and by 3.49% during the third month of the aggression "December 2023" .
The overall CPI for Palestine during 2023 Recorded a sharp Increase by 5.87% compared with 2022 (10.53% in Gaza Strip, 4.77% in the West Bank**, and by 4.05% in Jerusalem J1*).
The overall IPI in Palestine reached 74.47 during November 2023 with a decrease of 9.33% compared to October 2023 (Base Year 2019 = 100).
