The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 134.09 in January 2024, as it sharply increased by 5.51% compared to December 2023.
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 120.68 with a decrease of 0.20% during January 2024 compared with December 2023 (base year 2013=100).
Exports decreased in December, 2023 by 14% compared to December, 2022 and reached USD 128.8 Million, Imports decreased in December, 2023 by 37% compared to December, 2022 and reached USD 455.4 Million.
The overall Consumer Price Index CPI for Palestine during January 2024 recorded a sharp increase by 3.27% compared with December 2023 (11.41% in Gaza Strip, by 0.26% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.15% in the West Bank).
The overall IPI in Palestine with its Base Year (2019 = 100) reached 99.81 in 2023, which indicates a sharp decrease by 8.01% compared to 2022.
