The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 133.25 in June 2024, as it decreased by 0.87% compared to May 2024
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 121.55 with an increase of 0.31% during June 2024 compared with May 2024 (base year 2013=100).
Exports decreased in May, 2024 by 12% compared to May, 2023 and reached USD 125.9 Million.
The overall Wholesale Price Index in Palestine during the Second Quarter of 2024 recorded a sharp increase by 6.26% compared with the First Quarter of 2024
The overall Consumer Price Index CPI for Palestine during June 2024 increased by 0.83% compared with May 2024 (1.91% in Gaza Strip, While, the CPI decreased by 0.16% in Jerusalem J1* and by 0.10% in the West Bank)
Based on population estimates prepared by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, there are about 14.8 million Palestinians in the world as of mid-2024, half of them outside historical Palestine
The overall IPI in Palestine reached 78.44 during May 2024 with a sharp decrease of 28.93% compared to May 2023 (Base Year 2019 = 100).
About 39 thousand students were deprived of taking the General Secondary Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) in Gaza Strip
