By the end of 2024, estimates indicate an unprecedented sharp contraction in the GDP of the Gaza Strip, with a decrease exceeding 82%, along with a rise in the unemployment rate to 80%.

The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 176.02 in November 2024, as it decreased by 1.10% compared to October 2024.
