Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2019 = 100) reached 162.36 in January 2025, which indicates a decrease of 4.95% compared to December 2024
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 122.09 with a decrease of 0.20% during January 2025 compared with December 2024 (base year 2013=100).
Exports increased in December 2024 by 27% compared to December 2023 and reached USD 164.2 Million, Imports increased in December, 2024 by 31% compared to December, 2023 and reached USD 598.6 Million.
The number of employed persons from the West Bank (excluding workers abroad) increased from about 703 thousand in the 3rd quarter of 2024 to about 716 thousand in the 4th quarter of 2024 with percent 2%.
the consumer price index in Gaza Strip declined, recording a decrease of 53.27% during January 2025 compared to December 2024
The overall IPI in Palestine with its Base Year (2019 = 100) reached 80.01 in 2024, which indicates a sharp decrease by 19.84% compared to 2023
