Although the Palestinian economy recorded a marginal increase of 4% in 2025 compared to 2024, the GDP continues to show prolonged recession, where it declined by 24% compared to 2023
an increase in the net income account during the third quarter of 2025 by 57% compared to the previous quarter, reaching USD 307 million. Whereas, compensation for Palestinian workers in Israel increase by 25% compared to the previous quarter reached USD 159 million
The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 181.52 in November 2025, as it sharply decreased by 14.64% compared to October 2025
Currency and deposits accounted for 57% of the total external assets of the Palestinian economy at the end of the third quarter of 2025. This is mainly due to the absence of a Palestinian national currency
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 119.60 with a slight decrease of 0.09% during November 2025 compared with October 2025 (base year 2013=100)
Exports increased in October, 2025 by 37% compared to October, 2024 and reached USD 168.7 Million,Imports increased in October, 2025 by 25% compared to October, 2024 and reached USD 644.4 Million.
a sharp decline in the Consumer Price Index in Gaza Strip by 34.70% compared to October 2025, by 0.63% in Jerusalem J1*, and with a slight decrease by 0.03% in the West Bank**, this led to a decline in the overall Consumer Price Index in Palestine by 15.45%
The total number of building licenses issued in the third quarter of 2025 increased by 33% compared with the second quarter of 2025, andincreased by 13% compared with the third quarter of 2024
The overall IPI in Palestine reached 85.72 during October 2025 with a decrease of 7.48% compared to September 2025 (Base Year 2019 = 100)
Nearly 42,000 people in the Gaza Strip are now living with severe, life-changing injuries that demand ongoing rehabilitation, according to a report from September 2025. This is almost double the roughly 22,500 such cases recorded just a year earlier, in July 2024
