Preliminary estimates at constant prices showed an increase of 10.7 percent in GDP in the Palestinian Territory* for the year 2011 compared to the year 2010
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the Palestinian Territory in February 2012, increased by 0.12% compared to January 2012 and increased by 2.81% compared to February 2011.
The number of operating cultural centers in the Palestinian Territory are 597 in 2011; of which 531 cultural centers are in the West Bank and 66 cultural centers in Gaza Strip.
The estimated population at end of 2011 was 4.2 million in the Palestinian territory of whom 2.2 million are males and 2.0
million females.
During the fourth quarter of 2011, the total number of guests in Palestinian hotels was 137 thousand, spending 362 thousand guest nights
The overall Quantity of Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestinian Territory for January 2012 decreased by 8.74% compared to the previous month (December 2011).
