The overall Producer Price1 Index (PPI) for  Palestine in April 2014, as it decreased by 1.05% compared to March 2014.
The total number of building licenses issued in the first quarter of 2014 increased by 14.4% compared with the fourth quarter of 2013 and was 7.2% higher than in the first quarter of 2013.
During the first quarter of 2014, 149,526 guests stayed in hotels in the West Bank, spending 361,711 nights.

The Palestinian population was 1.4 million in 1948 but by the end of 2013, the estimated world population of Palestinians totaled 11.8 million.
