The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) and the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) signed an MoU on "National Business Register Development in Palestine ". 

   
 

Press Releases

The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for  Palestine with its base year (2011=100) reached 104.46 in July 2014, as it increased by 1.82% compared to June 2014.
Construction Cost Index (CCI), Road Cost Index (RCI), Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) and Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank during July,07/2014
USD 3,927.3 million the total of gross expenses, USD 4,049.2 million the total of revenues, approximately 34.0% of which are foreign grants and aids.
Exports decreased in June, 2014 by 2.4% compared to May, 2014.Imports slightly increased in June 2014 by 0.2% compared to May, 2014.
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during July 2014 increased by 1.53% compared with June 2014 (increased by 3.14% in Gaza Strip, 0.81% in the West Bank, and  0.70% in Jerusalem J1*).
The percentage of Youth represents 30.0% of the total population in Palestine: 38.1% of them are adolescents aged (15-19) years and 61.9% are youth aged (20-29) years
The number of persons participating in the labour force in Palestine was about 1,249,100 in the 2nd quarter 2014:; about 804,600 in the West Bank and about 444,500 in Gaza Strip.
The overall Quantity of Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine reached 112.79 during June 2014 with an increase of 3.71% compared to the previous month (May 2014).
