Basic Schools: include schools that teach the tenth grade or below for the scholastic years before 2017/2018. While from the scholastic year 2017/2018, the basic schools include schools that teach the ninth grade or below. The schools that teach the tenth grade and above are considered as secondary schools, based on the new education law issued by the Ministry of Education that consider the tenth grade in secondary stage.
