The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 108.25 in March 2023, as it decreased by 0.18% compared to February 2023.

Exports decreased in February, 2023 by 11% compared to January, 2023, Exports decreased in February, 2023 by 11% compared to January, 2023.
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 121.21 with an increase of 1.24% during March 2023 compared with February 2023 (base year 2013=100).
The overall Wholesale Price Index in Palestine during the First Quarter of 2023 recorded an increase by 1.00% compared with the Fourth quarter of 2022 (2.02% for local products and by 0.63% for imported products)
The overall Consumer Price Index CPI for Palestine during March 2023 recorded an increase by 1.31% compared with February 2023 (1.75% in Gaza Strip, 1.21% in the West Bank**, and by 1.13% in Jerusalem J1*).
The percentage of individuals aged 18 years and above with at least one chronic disease has increased slightly over the past decade, reaching 18% in 2010, while it reached about 20% in 2021.
The overall IPI in Palestine reached 101.24 during February 2023 with a decrease of 5.51% compared to January 2023 (Base Year 2019 = 100).
The estimated number of children (under 18 years) is expected to be 2.39 million in Palestine by mid-2023; 1.22 million males and 1.17 million females. Children in Palestine represent about 44% of the total population (41% in the West Bank, and 47% in Gaza Strip).
