A decrease in Registered* Exports and Imports in Goods in February, 02/2023 compared to the previous month

 

Exports in Goods

Exports decreased in February, 2023 by 11% compared to January, 2023. While it increased by 10% compared to February, 2022 and reached USD 136.2 Million.

 

Exports to Israel decreased in February, 2023 by 10% compared to January, 2023 and it represented 87% of total exports in February, 2023.

 

At the same time, exports to other countries decreased by 18% during the same period compared to January, 2023.

 

Imports in Goods

Imports decreased in February, 2023 by 14% compared to January, 2023. While it increased by 7% compared to February, 2022 and reached USD 633.4 Million.

 

Imports from Israel decreased by 13% in February, 2023 compared to January, 2023 and it represented 60% of total imports in February, 2023.

 

At the same time, imports from other countries decreased by 15% compared to January, 2023.

 

 

Trade Balance on Registered Goods

The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed a decrease in trade deficit by 14% in February, 2023 compared to January, 2023. While it increased by 7% compared to February, 2022 and reached USD 497.2 Million.
