Decrease in the consumer price index in Palestine during July 2026

The overall Consumer Price Index CPI for Palestine during July 2026 recorded a decrease by 1.68% compared with June 2026 (by 3.87% in Gaza Strip, by 0.33% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.19% in the West Bank**).  

The changes in Palestinian CPI during July 2026 were traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The Palestinian CPI during July 2026 decreased by 43.19% compared with July 2025 (66.27% in Gaza Strip. While, the index increased by 1.90% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 1.67% in the West Bank**).
