Palestinian Producer Price Index, July 07/2014
Increase in the PPI during July, 07/2014
The overall Producer Price1 Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2011=100) reached 104.46 in July 2014, as it increased by 1.82% compared to June 2014.
Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2011=100) reached 104.62 in July 2014, which indicates an increase by 1.97% compared to June 2014.
Producer Price Index for exported products (2011=100) reached 102.88 in July 2014, which indicates an increase by 0.34% compared to June 2014.
The changes of Producer Price Index for July 2014 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:

Note: Regarded to Gaza Strip PCBS collected producer prices for certain commodities during July 2014, as being directly collected from the field, due to Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip. Noting that the relative importance of the goods in Gaza Strip within producer price index amounted to less than 10%.
