Palestinian Consumer Price Index, September. 09/2014
Increase in the CPI during September 2014 compared with previous month
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during September 2014 increased by 0.17% compared with August 2014 (increased by 0.25% in Jerusalem J1*, by 0.21% in the West Bank, while it decreased by 0.74% in Gaza Strip).
The CPI during September 2014 increased by 2.11% compared with September 2013 (5.12% in Gaza Strip, by 2.89% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.23% in the West Bank).
The CPI during the first nine months of 2014 increased by 1.90% compared with the same period of the previous year (4.23% in Jerusalem J1*, by 2.76% in Gaza Strip, and by 1.74% in the West Bank).
The change in Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Palestine for September 2014 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared to the previous month:
