Preliminary Results of the Palestinian Registered* External Trade in Goods of
September,09/2014.
Exports
Exports increased in September, 2014 by 7.2% compared to August, 2014. It also increased by 13.5% compared to September, 2013 and reached USD 75.7 Million.
Exports to Israel increased in September, 2014 by 6.2% compared to August, 2014 and represented 89.6% of total exports in September, 2014.
On the other hand, exports to other countries increased by 17.0% during the same period compared to August, 2014.
Imports
Imports increased in September 2014 by 3.9% compared to August, 2014. It also increased by 18.1% compared to September, 2013 and reached USD 423.1 Million.
Imports from Israel increased by 8.8% in September 2014 compared to August, 2014 and represented 66.5% of total imports in September 2014.
On the other hand, imports from other countries decreased by 4.6% compared to August, 2014.
Net Trade Balance on Registered Goods
The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed an increase in trade deficit by 3.2% compared to August, 2014. It also increased by 19.2% compared to September 2013 and reached USD 347.4 Million.
