Palestinian Consumer Price Index, April, 04/2015
Increase in the CPI during April 2015 compared with previous month
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during April 2015 increased by 0.88% compared with March 2015 (by 1.55% in the West Bank, 0.16% in Jerusalem J1*, While it slightly decreased by 0.06% in Gaza Strip).
The CPI during April 2015 increased by 2.64% compared with April 2014 (by 4.18% in Gaza Strip, 1.67% in the West Bank, and by 0.21% in Jerusalem J1*).
The CPI during the first four months of 2015 increased by 1.09% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 1.96% in Gaza Strip, also it slightly increased by 0.03% in the West Bank, while it decreased by 0.40% in Jerusalem J1*).
The change in Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Palestine for April 2015 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
