Preliminary Results of the Palestinian Registered* External Trade in Goods of
March,03/2015.
Exports:
Exports increased in March, 2015 by 15.0% compared to February, 2015. It also increased by 6.7% compared to March, 2014 and reached USD 78.2 Million.
Exports to Israel increased in March, 2015 by 14.5% compared to February, 2015 and represented 87.3% of total exports in March, 2015.
On the other hand, exports to other countries increased by 17.7% during the same period compared to February, 2015.
Imports:
Imports increased in March 2015 by 15.8% compared to February, 2015. While it decreased by 4.3% compared to March, 2014 and reached USD 400.3 Million.
Imports from Israel increased by 12.6% in March 2015 compared to February, 2015 and represented 60.1% of total imports in March 2015.
On the other hand, imports from other countries increased by 20.9% compared to February, 2015.
Net Trade Balance on Registered Goods:
The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed an increase in trade deficit by 15.9% in March 2015 compared to February, 2015. While it decreased by 6.6% compared to March 2014 and reached USD 322.1 Million.
