Decrease in the CPI during July 2015 compared with previous month
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during July 2015 decreased by 0.41% compared with June 2015 (by 0.44% in the West Bank, 0.23% in Gaza Strip, and by 0.13% in Jerusalem J1*).
The CPI during July 2015 increased by 0.72% compared with July 2014 (by 1.25% in the West Bank, 0.92% in Jerusalem J1*, while it decreased by 0.56% in Gaza Strip).
The CPI during the first seven months of 2015 increased by 1.53% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 2.16% in Gaza Strip, 0.81% in the West Bank, and by 0.29% in Jerusalem J1*).
The change in Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Palestine for July 2015 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
