Construction Cost Index (CCI), Road Cost Index (RCI), Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) and Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank during July, 07/2015
Slight Increase in the Construction Cost Index for Residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index for Residential buildings reached 100.92 with a slight increase of 0.03% in the West Bank during July 2015 compared with June 2015 (base year 2013=100).
The Construction Cost Index for Residential buildings increased due to a slight increase in raw materials by 0.04%, while rental of equipments slightly decreased by 0.02%. At the same time, labor wages remained stable during July 2015 compared to previous month.
Slight Increase in the Construction Cost Index for Non-residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index for Non-residential buildings reached 101.19 with a slight increase of 0.05% in the West Bank during July 2015 compared with June 2015 (base year 2013=100).
The Construction Cost Index for Non-residential buildings increased due to a slight increase in raw materials by 0.09%, while rental of equipments slightly decreased by 0.07%. At the same time, labor wages remained stable during July 2015 compared to previous month.
Slight Decrease in the Construction Cost Index for Skeleton Buildings
The Construction Cost Index for Skeleton buildings reached 98.80 with a slight decrease of 0.06% in the West Bank during July 2015 compared with June 2015 (base year 2013=100).
The Construction Cost Index for Skeleton buildings decreased due to the decrease of rental of equipments by 0.17%, and raw materials slightly decreased by 0.08%. At the same time, labor wages remained stable during July 2015 compared to previous month.
Decrease in the Road Cost Index (RCI)
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) reached 112.49 with a decrease of 0.22% in the West Bank during July 2015 compared with June 2015 (base month December 2008=100).
The Road Cost Index for July 2015 decreased due to the decrease of rental of equipments by 0.47%, Operating costs of equipment & maintenance decreased by 0.33%, and raw materials decreased by 0.21%. At the same time, labor wages remained stable during July 2015 compared with the previous month.
Slight Decrease in the Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI)
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) reached 109.98 with a slight decrease of 0.07% in the West Bank during July 2015 compared with June 2015 (base month January 2010=100).
Water Reservoirs Cost Index reached 105.00 with a decrease of 0.24%. Water Networks Cost Index reached 112.24 with a slight increase of 0.01% during July 2015 compared with the previous month.
Decrease in the Sewage Networks Cost Index
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) reached 107.09 with a decrease of 0.33% in the West Bank during July 2015 compared with June 2015 (base month January 2010=100).
Note:
The data of the West Bank doesn’t cover those parts of Jerusalem which were annexed by Israel in 1967.

1. Gaza Strip data is not available.
2. The difference in the percentage change in major groups of road, construction, water networks, and sewage networks cost index is due to the nature compositions of these major groups.
