Palestinian Consumer Price Index, December, 12/2015
Increase in the CPI during December 2015 compared with previous month
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during December 2015 increased by 0.18% compared with November 2015 (by 0.70% in Gaza Strip, while it decreased by 0.61% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.10% in the West Bank).
The CPI during December 2015 increased by 0.97% compared with December 2014 (by 1.56% in the West Bank, 1.35% in Gaza Strip, while it decreased by 0.58% in Jerusalem J1*).
The CPI during 2015 increased by 1.43% compared with the previous year (by 1.77% in Gaza Strip, 1.29% in the West Bank, and by 0.33% in Jerusalem J1*).
The change in Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Palestine for December 2015 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
