Palestinian Consumer Price Index, January, 01/2016
Decrease in the CPI during January, 01/2016 compared with December, 12/2015
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during January 2016 decreased by 0.66% compared with December 2015 (by 1.67% in Jerusalem J1*, by 0.70% in Gaza Strip, and by 0.64% in the West Bank).
The CPI during January 2016 increased by 0.71% compared with January 2015 (by 1.57% in the West Bank, by 0.35% in Gaza Strip, while it decreased by 1.21% in Jerusalem J1*).
The change in Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Palestine for January 2016 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
