Decrease in the Consumer Price Index during October,10/2016
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during October 2016 decreased by 0.90% compared with September 2016 (by 1.42% in Gaza Strip, and by 0.76% in the West Bank**, while it increased by 0.12% in Jerusalem J1*).
The change in CPI in Palestine for October 2016 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The CPI during October 2016 decreased by 1.67% compared with October 2015 (by 3.32% in Gaza Strip, by 1.23% in the West Bank**, and by 0.69% in Jerusalem J1*).
The CPI during the first Ten months of 2016 slightly decreased by 0.04% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 1.19% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.63% in Gaza Strip, while it increased by 0.10% in the West Bank**).
