The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 101.79 during 2016 with an increase of 1.29% compared with 2015 (base year 2013=100).
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Non-residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 101.95 during 2016 with an increase of 1.25% compared with 2015 (base year 2013=100).
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Skeleton buildings in the West Bank* reached 99.22 during 2016 with an increase of 0.95% compared with 2015 (base year 2013=100).
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) in the West Bank* reached 107.47 during 2016 with a decrease of 3.83% compared with 2015 (Base month December 2008=100).
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) in the West Bank* reached 110.40 during 2016 with an increase of 0.68% compared with 2015 (Base month January 2010=100).
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank* reached 107.62 during 2016 with an increase of 0.46% compared with 2015 (Base month January 2010=100).

Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential buildings reached 103.02 with an increase of 0.61% in the West Bank* during December 2016 compared with November 2016 (base year 2013=100).
The Construction Cost Index for Residential buildings increased due to the increase in labor wages by 0.61%, the prices of raw materials by 0.57%, and rental of equipment by 0.10% during December 2016 compared with the previous month.
Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Non-residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Non-residential buildings reached 103.08 with an increase of 0.51% in the West Bank* during December 2016 compared with November 2016 (base year 2013=100).
The Construction Cost Index for Non-Residential buildings increased due to the increase in labor wages by 0.61%, the prices of raw materials by 0.40%, and rental of equipment by 0.12% during December 2016 compared with the previous month.
Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Skeleton Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Skeleton buildings reached 100.93 with an increase of 1.17% in the West Bank* during December 2016 compared with November 2016 (base year 2013=100).
The Construction Cost Index for Skeleton buildings increased due to the increase in the prices of raw materials by 1.25%, labor wages by 1.07%, and rental of equipment by 0.12% during December 2016 compared with the previous month.
Slight Increase in the Road Cost Index (RCI)
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) reached 107.99 with a slight increase of 0.03% in the West Bank* during December 2016 compared with November 2016 (base month December 2008=100).
The overall Road Cost Index increased due to the increase in labor wages by 1.60%, and rental of equipment by 0.14%, while operating costs of equipment & maintenance decreased by 0.96%, and the prices of raw materials by 0.24% during December 2016 compared with the previous month.
Increase in the Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI)
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) reached 111.49 with an increase of 0.46% in the West Bank* during December 2016 compared with November 2016 (base month January 2010=100).
Water Reservoirs Cost Index reached 104.00 with an increase of 1.25%, and Water Networks Cost Index reached 114.89 with an increase of 0.14% during December 2016 compared with the previous month.
Slight Increase in the Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI)
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) reached 108.40 with a slight increase of 0.08% in the West Bank* during December 2016 compared with November 2016 (base month January 2010=100).
Note:
* The data of West Bank doesn't include that part of Jerusalem which was annexed forcefully by Israel following its occupation of the West Bank in 1967.

1. Gaza Strip data is not available.
2. The difference in the percentage change in major groups of road, construction, water networks, and sewage networks cost index is due to the nature compositions of these major groups.
