Increase in the Consumer Price Index during January,01/2017
Increase in the CPI during January 2017
The overall CPI for Palestine during January 2017 increased by 0.14% compared with December 2016 (by 1.02% in Jerusalem J1*, by 0.38% in Gaza Strip, and slightly increased by 0.03% in the West Bank**).
The changes in Palestinian CPI for January 2017 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The CPI during January 2017 decreased by 0.26% compared with January 2016 (by 0.93% in Gaza Strip, and slightly decreased by 0.05% in the West Bank**, while it increased by 3.17% in Jerusalem J1*).
