Decrease in the Consumer Price Index during June, 06/2017

 

 

The overall CPI for Palestine during June 2017 decreased by 0.96% compared with May 2017 (by 1.61% in Gaza Strip, by 0.90% in the West Bank**, and by 0.29% in Jerusalem J1*).

 

 

 

The changes in Palestinian CPI for June 2017 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The Palestinian CPI during June 2017 decreased by 0.68% compared with June 2016 (by 1.66% in Gaza Strip, by 0.41% in the West Bank**, while it increased by 1.38% in Jerusalem J1*).

 

The Palestinian CPI during the first half of 2017 increased by 0.45% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 3.00% in Jerusalem J1*, by 0.73% in the West Bank**, while it decreased by 0.11% in Gaza Strip).
