Palestinian Consumer Price Index (CPI), March, 03/2018
Decrease in the CPI during March, 03/2018The overall CPI for Palestine during March 2018 decreased by 0.12% compared with February 2018 (by 0.51% in Gaza Strip, and with a slight decrease by 0.09% in both the West Bank** and Jerusalem J1*).
The Palestinian CPI during March 2018 decreased by 2.11% compared with March 2017 (by 3.13% in Gaza Strip, and by 1.89% in the West Bank**, while it increased by 0.17% in Jerusalem J1*).
The Palestinian CPI during the first quarter of 2018 decreased by 1.12% compared with the same quarter of the previous year (by 1.45% in the West Bank**, 1.09% in Gaza Strip, and with a slight decrease by 0.04% in Jerusalem J1*).
Notes:
*Data included those parts of Jerusalem which were annexed by Israeli Occupation in 1967.
**Data excluded those parts of Jerusalem which were annexed by Israeli Occupation in 1967.
