Preliminary Results of the Palestinian Registered* External Trade in Goods of October, 10/2018
Exports in Goods:
Exports increased in October, 2018 by 20% compared to September, 2018. It also increased by 14% compared to October, 2017 and reached USD 98.4 Million.
Exports to Israel increased in October, 2018 by 18% compared to September, 2018 and it represented 87% of total exports in October, 2018.
At the same time, exports to other countries increased by 36% during the same period compared to September, 2018 and reached USD 13.1 Million.
Imports in Goods:
Imports increased in October, 2018 by 10% compared to September, 2018. It also increased by 10% compared to October, 2017 and reached USD 508 Million.
Imports from Israel increased by 2% in October, 2018 compared to September, 2018 and it represented 58% of total imports in October, 2018.
At the same time, imports from other countries increased by 23% compared to September, 2018.
Net Trade Balance on Registered Goods:
The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed an increase in trade deficit by 8% in October, 2018 compared to September, 2018. It also increased by 10% compared to October, 2017 and reached USD 409.6 Million.
