Construction Cost Index (CCI), Road Cost Index (RCI), Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) and Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank* during October, 10/2019
Decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings reached 105.38 with a decrease of 0.48% in the West Bank* during October 2019 compared with September 2019 (base year 2013=100).
At the level of major groups, the prices of raw materials decreased by 0.79%, and rental of equipment decreased by 0.42%. At the same time, labour costs and wages remained stable during October 2019 compared with the previous month.
Decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Non-residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for non-residential buildings reached 105.21 with a decrease of 0.42% in the West Bank* during October 2019 compared with September 2019 (base year 2013=100).
At the level of major groups, the prices of raw materials decreased by 0.67%, and rental of equipment decreased by 0.39%. At the same time, labour costs and wages remained stable during October 2019 compared with the previous month.
Decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Skeleton Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for skeleton buildings reached 103.21 with a decrease of 1.28% in the West Bank* during October 2019 compared with September 2019 (base year 2013=100).
At the level of major groups, the prices of raw materials decreased by 1.97%, and rental of equipment decreased by 0.42%. At the same time, labour costs and wages remained stable during October 2019 compared with the previous month.
Decrease in the Road Cost Index (RCI)
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) reached 109.13 with a decrease of 0.36% in the West Bank* during October 2019 compared with September 2019 (base month December 2008=100).
At the level of major groups, the prices of raw materials decreased by 0.65%, and rental of equipment slightly decreased by 0.03%, while operating costs of equipment and maintenance increased by 1.83%. At the same time, labour costs and wages remained stable during October 2019 compared with the previous month.
Decrease in the Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI)
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) reached 113.38 with a decrease of 0.36% in the West Bank* during October 2019 compared with September 2019 (base month January 2010=100).
Water Reservoirs Cost Index reached 104.12 with a decrease of 2.04%, while Water Networks Cost Index reached 117.58 with an increase of 0.32% during October 2019 compared with the previous month.
Slight decrease in the Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI)
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) reached 110.39 with a slight decrease of 0.01% in the West Bank* during October 2019 compared with September 2019 (base month January 2010=100).
