A decrease in Imports from Israel on Registered* Goods in October,10/2019 by 6% compared to September, 2019
Imports in Goods
Imports decreased in October, 2019 by 7% compared to September, 2019. It also decreased by 7% compared to October, 2018 and reached USD 471.8 Million.
Imports from Israel decreased by 6% in October, 2019 compared to September, 2019 and it represented 58% of total imports in October, 2019.
At the same time, imports from other countries decreased by 8% compared to September, 2019.
Exports in Goods
Exports decreased in October, 2019 by 1% compared to September, 2019. It also decreased by 9% compared to October, 2018 and reached USD 89.3 Million.
Exports to Israel decreased in October, 2019 by 8% compared to September, 2019 and it represented 82% of total exports in October, 2019.
On the other hand, exports to other countries increased by 50% during the same period compared to September, 2019 and reached USD 15.9 Million.
Trade Balance on Registered Goods
The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed a decrease in trade deficit by 8% in October, 2019 compared to September, 2019. It also decreased by 7% compared to October, 2018 and reached USD 382.5 Million.
