Increase in the Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine during February,02/2022

The overall IPI in Palestine reached 105.01 during February 2022 with an increase of 5.98% compared to January 2022 (Base Year 2019 = 100).

IPI for February 2022 increased due to the increase in the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply by 7.08% which had a share of 7.38% of the total industry, the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 6.21% which had a share of 87.89% of the total industry, and the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 2.49% which had a share of 2.89% of the total industry. While the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation decreased by 2.40% which had a share of 1.84% of the total industry.
