Increase in the Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine during March, 03/2022

 The overall IPI in Palestine reached 110.87 during March 2022 with an increase of 5.58% compared to February 2022 (Base Year 2019 = 100).

IPI for March 2022 increased due to the increase in the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation by 22.23% which had a share of 1.84% of the total industry, the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 12.69% which had a share of 2.89% of the total industry, and the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 5.84% which had a share of 87.89% of the total industry. While, the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply decreased by 2.31% which had a share of 7.38% of the total industry.
