Increase in the Producer Price Index (PPI) during April, 04/2022
The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 106.48 in April 2022, as it increased by 0.10% compared to March 2022.
PPI for locally consumed products
Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2019 = 100) reached 106.08 in April 2022, which indicates an increase of 0.17% compared to March 2022.
PPI for local exported products
Producer Price Index for local exported products (2019 = 100) reached 110.26 in April 2022, which indicates a decrease of 0.59% compared to March 2022.
The changes of PPI for April 2022 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:
