Increase in the Producer Price Index (PPI) during July 2022
The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 103.38 in July 2022, as it increased by 0.33% compared to June 2022.
PPI for locally consumed products
Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2019 = 100) reached 102.92 in July 2022, which indicates an increase of 0.43% compared to June 2022.
PPI for local exported products
Producer Price Index for local exported products (2019 = 100) reached 107.66 in July 2022, which indicates a decrease of 0.54% compared to June 2022.
The changes of PPI for July 2022 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:
