Increase in the Producer Price Index (PPI) during October 2022
The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 107.68 in October 2022, as it increased by 0.65% compared to September 2022.
PPI for locally consumed products
Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2019 = 100) reached 107.58 in October 2022, which indicates an increase of 0.73% compared to September 2022.
PPI for local exported products
Producer Price Index for local exported products (2019 = 100) reached 108.61 in October 2022, which indicates a slight decrease of 0.09% compared to September 2022.
The changes of PPI for October 2022 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:
