A decline in Registered* Exports and Imports of Goods in August, 08/2024

compared to August 2023

 

 

Exports in Goods

Exports decreased in August 2024 by 8% compared to August 2023 and reached USD 136.9 Million.

Exports to Israel decreased in August 2024 by 8% compared to August 2023 and it represented 90% of total exports in August, 2024.

At the same time, exports to other countries decreased by 5% during the same period compared to August, 2023.

 

Imports in Goods

Imports decreased in August, 2024 by 15% compared to August, 2023 and reached USD 638.2 Million.

Imports from Israel decreased by 16% in August, 2024 compared to August, 2023 and it represented 57% of total imports in August, 2024.

At the same time, imports from other countries decreased by 12% compared to August, 2023.

 

Trade Balance on Registered Goods

The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed a decrease in trade deficit by 16% in August, 2024 compared to August, 2023 and reached USD 501.3 Million.


It is worth mentioning that the above figures are currently available only at the aggregate level, while the detailed data will be provided in the fourth quarter of next year.
