A decline in Registered* Imports of  Goods in October, 10/2024

compared to October 2023.

Imports in Goods

Imports decreased in October, 2024 by 11% compared to October, 2023 and reached USD 514.9 Million.

Imports from Israel decreased by 8% in October, 2024 compared to October, 2023 and it represented 59% of total imports in October, 2024.

At the same time, imports from other countries decreased by 16% compared to October, 2023.

Exports in Goods

Exports increased in October 2024 by 34% compared to October 2023 and reached USD 123.2 Million.

Exports to Israel increased in October 2024 by 38% compared to October 2023 and it represented 78% of total exports in October, 2024.

At the same time, exports to other countries increased by 20% during the same period compared to October, 2023.

Trade Balance on Registered Goods

The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed a decrease in trade deficit by 20% in October, 2024 compared to October, 2023 and reached USD 391.7 Million.

 It is worth mentioning that the above figures are currently available only at the aggregate level, while the detailed data will be provided during the fourth quarter of next year.
