Palestinian Consumer Price Index, January, 01/2014
Slightly Increase in the CPI during January 2014 compared with previous month
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during January 2014 increased by 0.16% compared with December 2013 (increased by 0.27% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.17% in the West Bank, and by 0.12% in Gaza Strip).
The CPI during January 2014 increased by 1.94% compared with January 2013 (3.93% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 3.27% in the West Bank, while it decreased by 0.37% in Gaza Strip).
The change in Consumer Price Index (CPI) for January 2014 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared to the previous month:
