Palestinian Consumer Price Index, February, 02/2014
Decrease in the CPI during February 2014 compared with previous month
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during February 2014 decreased by 0.21% compared with January 2014 (decreased by 0.23% in the West Bank, and by 0.15% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.07% in Gaza Strip).
The CPI during February 2014 increased by 2.13% compared with February 2013 (4.73% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 3.15% in the West Bank, and by 1.47% in Gaza Strip).
The change in Consumer Price Index (CPI) for February 2014 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared to the previous month:
