Decrease in the PPI during February 2014
The overall Producer Price1 Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2011=100) reached 104.03 in February 2014, as it decreased by 2.19% compared to January 2014.
Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2011=100) reached 104.09 in February 2014, which indicates a decrease by 2.39% compared to January 2014.
Producer Price Index for exported products (2011=100) reached 103.50 in February 2014, which indicates a decrease by 0.18% compared to January 2014.
The changes of Producer Price Index for February 2014 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:
