Numbers of Workers in the Transport, Storage and Communication Activity
The report results showed that the percentage of total number of workers in the transport, storage and communication activity in 2013 reached to 6.4% of total workers in Palestine, comparing with 6.5% in 2012.
Number of licensed vehicles in the West Bank*
The results showed that the total number of licensed vehicles in the West Bank* was about 144 thousands.
The data showed that the private cars formed 74.1% of the total vehicles in the West Bank*.
Road Accidents and Casualties in the West Bank*
The results of the annual report showed that the number of registered road accidents in the West Bank* reached 7,824 in 2013, with a decrease by 2.7% compared with 2012. The number of casualties in 2013 was 7,753 with a decrease by 5.4% compared with 2012. Those slightly injured formed 86.5% out of the total injured persons, while the fatally injured formed 1.8% from the total injured in 2013.
An Increase in Number of Main Telephone Lines in Palestine
The results showed that the total main telephone lines operating in Palestine was about 403 thousands lines by the end of 2013, with an increase by 2.3% compared to 2012.
Number of subscriptions Cellular phone in Palestine
The results indicated that the number of subscriptions in Palestinian Cellular Phones by the end of the year 2013 in Palestine was about 3.3 million subscriptions with an increase of 2.4% compared with 2012.
