The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) and the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) signed an MoU on "National Business Register Development in Palestine ".

President of PCBS, Ms. Ola Awad, and Mr. Philippe Cuneo, Head of INSEE’s Inspectorate-General on behalf of Mr. Jean-Luc Tavernier, Director General of INSEE, signed on Sunday, August 17^th 2014, a Memorandum of Understanding on "National Business Register Development in Palestine".

The MOU was signed at PCBS main premises in Ramallah in the presence of H.E. Mr. Shukri Bishara, Minister of Finance, H.E. Mr. Hervé Magro, Consul General of the French Consulate, Mr. Jan Robert Suesser, Agency for International Technical Cooperation of the Economic and Financial Ministries, and of the Ministry for Sustainable development (Adetef) and in the presence of  high level delegations from INSEE, French Consulate in Jerusalem as well as officials from PCBS.
