Increase in the PPI during August, 08/ 2015
The overall Producer Price1 Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2011=100) reached 106.19 in August 2015, with an increase by 2.07% compared with July 2015.
Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2011=100) reached 106.49 in August 2015, which indicates an increase by 2.24% compared with July 2015.
Producer Price Index for exported products (2011=100) reached 103.14 in August 2015, which indicates an increase by 0.38% compared with July 2015.
The changes of Producer Price Index for August 2015 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared with the previous month:
